The Vibration World family of controllers, designed by Wayne Pauley, was originally released in 1992 with an ISA slot design. Vibration World sold over 500 of the first generation DSC-1 and DRC-1 PC-based controllers, originally with DOS interface. In 1999, Vibration World released the DVC-4 controller which was one of the first controllers to take advantage of the Windows Operating System, combining DSP hardware with the Windows interface. This new windows compatible PCI-slot design resulted in a vibration controller with unparalleled economics and ease-of-use.

In 2009, with over 1000 controllers already in the field, Vibration World released the new DVC-8. As the logical successor to the DVC-4 and ISA slot DSC/DRC controllers, the DVC-8 has a 20-year history of trouble free operation which is why it is and always has been backed with a 3-year warranty. Unlike most other controllers, software updates for the DVC controllers are always free and can be conveniently found and downloaded from our website.

In 2013, Vibration World was acquired by Dynsol USA, Inc. (formerly Dynamic Solutions LLC) a leader in reliable, cost-effective vibration test solutions. The DVC-8 from is fully compatible with Windows XP/Vista/Windows7, and comes with a complete software suite and all future software releases for as long as you own the controller.
